Ongoing Proposed Researches

  • IoT based Energy Networking, Smart Energy metering, Energy Database, Energy Community.
  • Consumer behavioral analysis for basic Energy usages, demands and Costs by using BlockChain.
  • Smart Grid: Energy Sharing and Energy Saving
  • Energy Audit, Energy Foot-Print, Carbon Foot-Print, Carbon Trading.
  • Automatic Cleaning and maintenance of Solar panel
  • Producing light from weight and gravity (light from infinity energy).
  • Feed-in Tariffs (FiT) suitable for promoting solar PV.
  • Energy from Bio-Fuel: Bio-Diesel, increase the growth of microalgae, lipid content to extract Bio-Fuel.
  • Environmental friendly waste management and energy production.
  • Cost effective Energy Simulation, Piloting in Jhenaidah Community
  • Producing light from weight and gravity (light from infinity energy).
  • Energy from biofuel: In order to meet the upcoming global energy crisis, we need to focus more on new sources of energy which are nearly infinite in amount and that have less effect on the environment. So different alternatives are replacing the fossil fuels. Biodiesel is one of the significant alternatives. The main goal of this project is to increase the growth of microalgae as well as lipid content and from there, to extract biofuel commercially which can be a new addition to the energy source.
  • Improving performance of solar panel by cooling: One of the main obstacles that face the operation of photovoltaic panels (PV) is overheating due to excessive solar radiation and high ambient temperatures. Further research is required to enhance the performance of solar energy extraction process using cooling.
  • Energy from Rice husk: Rice husk contains about 30–50% of organic carbon and have high heat value of 13–16 MJ per kg. Energy products from rice husk are heat, electricity, and biofuel (solid or liquid). Heat generated from this could be used for house heating and cooking, industrial boilers, drying, and generating electricity. Research is going on to explore the possibility of using this available source for mitigating the energy crisis.
  • Energy Audit of a building.
  • Blue Energy (Ocean/See wave): Blue Energy is a promising renewable energy source for the future. Oceans cover 70% of the earth’s surface and this means that wave energy has an immense potential. It is basically an untapped immerse renewable resource. It has been estimated that with current technologies and knowledge we can produce 2 terawatts of electricity which is double of the amount of electricity currently produced.
  • Micro and Mini hydro generator (Energy from River): Micro hydro is a type of hydroelectric power that typically produces from 5 kW to 100 kW of electricity using the natural flow of water. Micro hydro systems complement solar PV power systems because in many areas, water flow, and thus available hydro power, is highest in the winter when solar energy is at a minimum. In relation to rural development, the simplicity and low relative cost of micro hydro systems open up new opportunities for some isolated communities in need of electricity.
