 The vision of IEE is to establish a leading center of excellence in advanced energy and environmental technologies, serving as a hub for     education,   research, and innovation dissemination within IUT and across the OIC Member States. Our mission is to foster sustainable,   research-driven   initiatives that advance clean energy transitions and environmental stewardship in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development   Goals (SDGs).

Through the integration of science, technology, and policy, we aim to develop competent, ethical, and future-ready professionals capable of contributing to climate-resilient and inclusive development. To realize this vision, IEE focuses on strengthening postgraduate education and professional training, promoting research in renewable energy, energy conversion, storage, efficiency and environmental technologies, developing modern laboratory facilities, fostering industrial and international collaboration, facilitating technology transfer, and engaging students in innovation and sustainability. The Institute also promotes practical initiatives that support cleaner and more
sustainable energy systems within the University and beyond.

As IUT advances towards its aspiration of becoming “OIC’s Green Digital University” by 2035, IEE is committed to contributing to this transformative journey through green energy, future-ready education, impactful research, innovation, student-centred development, transparent governance, and sustainable campus transformation.
